Shoah is a film by Claude Lanzman which uses methods from documentary filmmaking to memorialize the Holocaust (Shoah). Shoah works to memorialize tragedy and trauma without centring archival images of Holocaust representations that historicize or narrativize. The film is comprised of interviews with Holocaust survivors and Polish citizens, underscoring Polish complicity in the events of the Holocaust.
